FUCHS SCHMIERSTOFFE GMBH has been based in Mannheim for almost 90 years, and it employs roughly 1,000 people and concentrates exclusively on the development and production of lubricants and associated specialty products. FUCHS provides a comprehensive range of lubricants for a wide range of different sectors and it’s the leading lubricants partner of the German automotive industry, making it one of the market leaders in the lubricants industry within Germany. FUCHS is the official partner of the German motor trades sector and has won many awards – e.g. the VW Award, the ZF Supplier Award and the Daimler AG Award, and as the Preferred Supplier of Robert Bosch GmbH.

As a German manufacturer the company continually invests in its sites at Mannheim, Kiel and Wedel. Just in the next few years the company wants to invest around EUR 50 M in expanding its Mannheim site.
